Air NORTH FROM THE MAGAZINE
|
Were you stationed at any of the airfields or aerodromes below? Would you be willing to share your memories with the region’s aviation society, which publishes a variety of local history articles each month in its magazine? We are currently in the process of building an archive for information relating to both WW2 and post-war military airfields and seaplane bases in the region. We would like to establish contact with people who were either stationed at, have photographs taken at, or have information to share regarding any of the following RAF and RNAS airfields:
Acklington We would be particularly interested in hearing from ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen, or their friends and relatives who can provide information relating to the above sites. We would also be very interested in hearing from people who worked at or were accommodated on these airfields in the post-war period

Ashington
We hope you can help us. If you have any relevant information, we would love to hear from you. Please e-mail us at graeme@airnorth1.demon.co.uk and we will be happy to reply to you.
